With 37 locations, Uncle Julio's is a growing, national chain of family casual, made-from-scratch, Mexican fresh restaurants, averaging 244 covers daily.
Challenges:
With a goal of improved customer experience and operational efficiencies, Uncle Julio's believed they needed better insights and needed to gain a better understanding of their guest satisfaction and individual staff performance. Specifically, they wanted to understand guests' perceptions of their service and identify dissatisfied guests while they were still in the restaurant so that they could address the service issues immediately. In addition, they wanted the ability to link individual and team staff performance with guest satisfaction.
Results:
Uncle Julio's increased total customer feedback for their restaurant with over 85% response rate on the customer satisfaction survey. With the ability to rank individual, team, and location performance based on guest satisfaction and feedback, Uncle Julio's identified the impact of certain team combinations on performance and guest satisfaction in order to optimize their service experience and improve restaurant performance.
Comprehensive analytics on customer perceptions and preferences were obtained through stack ranking reports per location across the brand family which allowed Uncle Julio's to better manage their service by the data and optimize operations.
